The queen of the Pyrenees
Luchon owes its reputation to its sulphurous waters and to the Allées d'Étigny, the tree-lined avenue that leads to the thermal baths. The vaporarium, a hot gallery cut into the rock, is its oddity.
The town is walkable end to end, between the baths, the casino and the terraces. Mountains close the valley on every side: that is the setting.
Superbagnères, right above
The Superbagnères resort overlooks the valley. You get up there by road or by the gondola that leaves from the centre of Luchon, which means the vehicle can stay below.
Ski, spa and luggage
For a snow holiday, one vehicle takes the group, the suitcases and the skis. Transfers to Peyragudes, Saint-Lary-Soulan and Piau-Engaly are in our fare table too: same mountain road, same driver.
