Saint-Pierre abbey
The cloister of Saint-Pierre abbey is one of the best preserved in Romanesque art. Its carved capitals tell biblical scenes, column after column, and the round takes its time.
The tympanum over the south doorway shows the vision of the Apocalypse: Christ in majesty surrounded by the twenty-four elders. The whole is a UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela.
Chasselas grapes and the canal
Moissac grows Chasselas, a table grape with its own appellation. The town is also a stop on the Garonne lateral canal, which the Cacor aqueduct carries over the river Tarn.

Moissac and Montauban are in the same department, on the same axis out of Toulouse. Both fit into one day by shuttle: the driver links them, the group stays together.
