Why the road, and nothing else
Andorra can only be reached by vehicle. From Toulouse-Blagnac airport, a private shuttle picks the group up at baggage reclaim and drops it at the hotel door: no connection to catch, no luggage dragged from one platform to another.
The road runs through Foix and Ax-les-Thermes, then crosses the mountains. In winter it is a drive that takes habit: snow on the road, and equipment required on some days.
Andorra la Vella and the parishes
Andorra la Vella holds the shops and most of the hotels. The ski resorts and villages — El Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, Encamp, Canillo, Ordino, Arinsal, Pal, Sant Julià de Lòria — are in our fare table as well, each with its own price per vehicle.
The principality lives off skiing in winter, hiking in summer and retail all year round. The spa complex in the capital is the other common reason to stay.
A border, and two consequences
Andorra is not in the European Union. Bring ID for everyone in the group, and expect purchases to be checked on the way back: French customs apply an allowance per person.
The price shown is the price of the vehicle for the whole journey, whatever the number of passengers. Six or eight, it does not move.
